In an effort to get to know the teams that are playing in the FIFA 2010 World Cup, we decided to make a list of all the teams and their nicknames. We are huge fans of diversity, so getting to know the teams by their names is a good place to start. Next in the series will be the teams and their national anthems.
We’re not sure exactly how accurate some of these are, but as far as we know, these are all 32 countries’ nicknames. Except Slovenia. Try as we might, we could not find the name of the Slovenian team.
If you know otherwise, please feel free to let us know!
